pong-caseBack in January we told you about Pong’s cases that claim to reduce your radiation exposure. Researchers are still undecided if cell phone radiation is even bad for you but that is not stopping creative companies from trying to protect you from it.

Pong has now made a deal with Case-Mate to integrate the Pong technology into some Case-Mate cases. The cases are proven to redirect at least 60% of normal radiation and 85% of hotspot radiation while not hurting signal strength. Not a bad sales pitch for their Bounce Product line that is coming out in early Q4 2010 for $49.99 with a free screen protector.

Bounce Product Features

  • Innovative: Bounce cases feature a sleek design coupled with ground-breaking radiation-reducing technology.
  • Trustworthy: The devices are proven in FCC certified laboratories.
  • Effective: A paper-thin internal circuit board deflects away from the user at least 60% of constant radiation and re-directs 85% or more of "hot spot" radiation.
  • Durable: The slim, flexible case is impact resistant, so the phone is protected from potential scratches and scrapes.

When the cases come out soon they will be available for the BlackBerry 8520, 9650, 9700, and 9800.
